Wordless Wednesday

Wordless Wednesday copy

I will apologize right now, but this edition of Wordless Wednesday will have words.

Bullet 1 copy

I brought you home not knowing that you would change our lives. We weren't supposed to have animals, only stuffed ones as Dad put it. You changed our hearts. You proved to us that you were made for our family. The perfect dog? There is one and Bullet was it.

Bullet 2 copy

You showed Dad that you were going to be the best dog a family can have. Getting the paper for him every morning when we never even taught you how to do it, all you asked for was an ice cube for your treat. Sunday morning walks with Dad but you knew if he didn't come out of the bedroom with his hat and tennis shoes on, that he had to work instead.

Bullet 3 copy

You let Matt crawl all over you. You were his first dog and left such an impression that will last a lifetime. You left us so quick, and we didn't have a chance to say good-bye. You were supposed to come home that Tuesday. You weren't supposed to be gone forever.
Bullet 4 copy

You were and will always be the best dog our family could of ever asked for. You brought so much joy to our family in the 9 years you were with us. We miss you now and forever.

We experienced a similar loss this spring. It's oh so hard, isn't it? I'm so sorry.

That is a beautiful tribute to a faithful friend.

Thanks for sharing.

He was a beautiful boy and I understand your loss - it can be so hard and even years later you still feel it. But it does get easier. Take care

Ok, I am crying now too!! We had a loss like this in March. Darn dogs makes us cry like babies!! I suggest a puppy to help with the healing!

Very sweet post. We lost our dog of 17 years a few weeks ago. Hard to say goodbye...

Ah, that's very sad. Dogs become such a big and wonderful part of the family, its heartbreaking when they leave us.
