Wordless Wednesday

My oldest has always had a learning problem. It was called the Idon'twanttopayattentionthereistoomuchotherstuffbetterthanschool. Got that? Yeah, well this is his senior year. He's really got to push himself, apply himself, in other words, GET HIS CRAP TOGETHER senior year.

He's been doing great! I am so proud of him.

Now if he would of just started this in the ninth grade, he would have an easy senior year instead of pushing himself so hard.

I will be having a graduation party in June even if I have to hire some kid for the graduate.

Letters to my children. Actually not really letters, just a friendly reminder....check list if you will.

To my oldest:

1. You are seventeen...remember that. (Boy, it should really end at that but trust me, there is more.)
2. You are still living under my roof. Really. Look up. See that....it's the ceiling, that right now your grandparents are helping me I pay for.
3. Eating is for the dining room, not your bedroom. I refuse to use elbow grease to scrap the 3 week old cheese off the plate that you have left on top of your speaker.
4. No clean boxers? Damn. See that big box in the garage? You know, the one that spins and makes that funny noise? Yeah, that one. Use it. It's really easy. It even has the directions on the inside of the lid. See?
   
   
5. You can really only stuff so much in the garbage can. Really. I've tried thousands of times but it only holds so much.
6. You put it down, so you should know where it's at. What is "it"? Anything. Your wallet, glasses, shoes, socks...see? Anything
7. This probably won't be the last but guess what? Your seventeen. One - seven. 17. I'm 36. Thirty - six. Three...six. See the difference there? Learn it. Live it and when you're 36 you can do as you want.

Now to the little one. His letter is a little shorter but give him time and it'll get longer.

1. This week is Thanksgiving sweetie. That means the alarm doesn't go off. Means that we don't have to get up before the sun rises. Okay? Thank you so much.
2. I love the fact that you know the "Clean Up" song but can we put it to use? Singing it while mommy cleans up your blocks that you have practiced your pitching arm with, is not cleaning up.
3. When mommy says we need to get ready, this doesn't mean running around the house chasing the dogs or seeing if mommy can catch you. It means sitting down so I can put on your shoes. Oh and a word of advise. If you're going to run from me, don't run into a corner. It's really not to your advantage.
4. And for right now, this will be the last. Your 2 y/o attitude SUCKS! I'm over it.

I love you both boys with all my heart but mommy is really considering seeing if I can trade you in.

You need a recipe, where to you go? The internet.

You need to find directions, where do you go? The internet.

Sales at a certain store, where do you go? The internet.

A few weeks ago, I received a comment on one of my Weekly Winners, or Wordless Wednesdays, hell I don't remember but that's not the point. The point is that I got the comment from a great lady, Marina at a wonderful site, Mucha Costa Rica. Normally I wouldn't think anything about it, but I have Matt graduating in June (gasp) and to do something for his graduation would be great.

I emailed Marina and right away she was so helpful on when to come, what to do and where to go. The other owner of the site, Rayna also emailed me letting me know some great things about Costa Rica (also complimenting Matt on his photography and that he'll probably go into overload with everything to shoot there).

So since then, I've been doing my research, looking, finding, and trying to figure out the best time to go. We are aiming for the end of March (spring break for Matt) so hopefully we can do it.

But the point, yes, I have points, is if you are planning on trying to plan a vacation, head over and see Marina and Rayna at Mucha Costa Rica. They have great articles, places of interest and vacation packages for you to choose from. They are a huge help!

Illegal clicking? Can I get a ticket for that?

My boss, love him to death, is always trying to get me to do something. Work? Apparently that's what I get paid for. This morning he's having a meeting with the salesmen and the topic of a blog comes up. Well I guess that's what I do here (go fucking figure), so guess who gets it.....me.

No biggie, I can do this. Both bosses are all about money, who isn't? So I head over to Blogger, put in his email, since we already have a Google account, set up the blog and start doing a layout. Half way through I'm thinking in my little head, that I'll add AdSense. More money...click people click. Right. That would be a big fat wrong. I keep getting this message:

The AdSense account on file for you has been disapproved. sign in with a valid AdSense account to proceed.

What the fuck? Seriously? Off into his office...mind you it's only about 10 steps but I'm lazy. (I think I've established that some where on here before) I ask the boss....

"Oh yeah, I got kicked off AdSense for illegal clicking."

Huh? Illegal clicking? How the fuck is that possible? I've been to other blogs and clicked the hell outta people ads and nothing. Google doesn't do shit.

So how many clicks does it take to get kicked off AdSense? One has to wonder.

Weekly Winners

I was a busy one this week. I actually didn't have time to put the camera in my hands until Thursday and Friday night. If you saw my Haiku on Friday, I was offered a huge opportunity (on my part) that I couldn't screw up. The Round Up, a country bar in Tampa, offer me to shoot the Chris Cagle concert. I couldn't pass it up. In the end, 400+ pictures later, it went fantastic!
I also learned a bit of information yesterday morning after posting all the pictures....hope you don't mind Lotus that he made it into my winners =) I have a new found love with Cagle's drummer and I love this picture!
